I've had it. This is really it. For the first time in all of human history, there is no longer any excuse for baseline ignorance from anyone in the first world. Hell, pretty soon even the third world's going to be googling their way to the 21st century.
So enough is enough. If I tell you something about anything, say, "Good god man, are we post singularity yet?" Hit up wiki.
If you want to know how to install Photoshop, GOOGLE IT.
Between Wiki and Google, you can answer any conceivable question, and many inconceivable ones as well.
When I hear someone ask me a definitional question, I hear "Duhhh, duhhh, whad dus dis meen duhhhh" and see drool on the face of the 20st century ape-man asking me. Asking questions vocally makes about as much sense today as weaving your own clothes did in the past century. Sure, the rubes still do it, but the rest of us have lifted our knuckles off the ground and decided to leave the trees for condos with central heating and broadband/wifi internet access.
Wikipedia. Google. Learn it, live it, link it.
And quit bitching about cellular ubiquity. You are the oddball, not everyone around you. Remember the guys still trying to ride horses in the cities packed with cars? Yeah, that's you, gramps, out of the way - I'm photoblogging.
